Communication, collaboration, and technology are the life-blood of Gregg Le Blanc and F5Direct.  It's no secret that Gregg enjoys being on stage or face to face with someone talking technology.  F5Direct exists so that Gregg can reach out and talk to more people about technology and finding its relevant use or position in your business, life, or your market.

Gregg has been working with technology for innumerable years, but started getting paid to work with an emerging thing called "the Internet" in the mid-80's (the 20th Century!).

His first real job with computers was to install a corporate email system, connection to the Internet, and help construct a corporate Wide Area Network (WAN) for this company.

It was here that Gregg saw the transformative power of technology.  At this time email was disruptive.  No one could really quantify the value of it, but the fledgling IT team (called I.S. at the time) he was part of got special dispensation to create a trial network, server, and desktop client experience.

At a time with courier services, overnight delivery, and the fax machine ruled the office, the power of email was little understood.  In fact, funding was cancelled after the first 3 month trial because no discernable benefits of "email" were observed.

Once the fractional T1 line was turned off, something amazing happened... the boss marched into the I.S. office and demanded to know why he wasn't getting anything in his "email thing".  We calmly explained that it was turned off because "funding for the trial period was not extended."

After some swearing, clarifying what "the Internet" was, and a quick call to the T1 provider, we renewed the lease and his "email thing" started working again.  From then on, the power of technology was evident, but not clear.  Gregg's mission is to make the value of technology fit your demands.
